Yes, we had our little meeting today. We had a great lunch at a place called Jack Astors. And yes, Richie is who he says he is. He is 17, but huge. Alot taller than I am. We talked about a bunch of stuff that has been bugging us, then I had to leave. I got home around 5:15 pm. What took a long time was the traveling, which is an hour and a half long. Anyway, we had a great time and we'll definitely do it again, if we get the chance. Hopefully, some more of you guys from NC can come with us next time.

Love the thread Richie and its nice to see you're up to your old tricks.
I know I'm not stopping with my two BAs. I'm going for my fucking Phd.
As for the supposed debauchery, that happens at the dorms (usually when a perty is going on). As for getting laid, I guess it depends on what college you go to. Here At UNCG, I can't even get a girl interested in me, let alone get laid. Of course, the society has to portray college in the worst manner possible. At least nobody is bitching to me about me attending college.

Hi Lostsoul,
Welcome to the board. I'd like to say that I completely sympathise with your situation, but honestly, I do suspect that this is a temporary crush. Maybe you wait awhile and then see how you still feel about the matter. However, if you still feel like pursuing her, then you've got a challenge. Probably the best approach her and tell her how you feel about her. It makes no difference how you feelings about her if she is unaware of them. You should also be upfront about how you feel about her religion. Whatever you choose to do, good luck and feel free to post some more.

Do you like this when it happens to you?
by free2beme ini have been on message boards for years, not so much former witness boards, but political or even just general topics.
in so doing, something always happens and i wonder if i am the only one who finds this annoying.. you type something, perhaps a topic or a response and you don't think it is all that important to check all spelling and make sure grammar is perfect.
after all, it's not school anymore and we are not being graded.

Yeah, they should get over it. Its the internet; a very casual setting. We're not here to write essays. Just here for support and blow off some steam.

KH meeting - boring!
by jstalin ini'm not a jw but a friend of mine who is a jw invited me to the memorial service at the kh this year.
i was raised catholic but now i'm agnostic/atheist.
one thing that struck me was how horribly sterile and boring the memorial service was.

Yes, the boredom. Most of my childhood was spent at those miserable meetings and now as an adult, I'm still attending them. The information they give at the meetings is almost exactly the same as it was when I was a child. Its different when you're an adult though, beacause now I understand that this religion is bunk. All I do nowdays is sit there and try and ignore all the obnoxious ranting that regularly comes from the platform.
